Kristin Hersh

Kristin Hersh was a member of The Throwing Muses. She now has been working on solo albums. These albums have a very wild dreamy feel about them. Her lyrics are also very poetic and portray a unique experience of the world. She has suffered many years from manic depression and has used this to fuel her creativity.

1. Hips and Makers: This was Kristin's first solo album. She broke new ground with this album. She sings mostly solo, accompanied by her guitar. It is very emotional and moving.

2. Strings: This is an e.p. with songs from Hips and Makers and additional songs. It is REALLY beautiful. She sings accompanied by strings, violins etc...

3. Strange Angels: This is a more recent release which has a really magical madness about it, she crashes and soars and carries you with her.

4. Sky Motel: This is her latest release. It is even better than her others and she has continued to voyage into new territories musically. She currently has been touring to promote this album.

Kate Bush - The Line, The Cross & The Curve (1994)
This is Kate Bush's rendition of the tale of the red shoes. It is very magical and Kate Bush's music is great as always.
