THE NIXY

This is the mysterious tale of a German water spirit called a "nixy" that lived in a mill pond and could be helpful but dangerous.

RÜBEZAHL

This tale describes an ancient and powerful German mountain Gnome. He has powers over the elements, the weather, and he makes the crops grow as we learn from the tale. In the story he emerges from the earth and tries to learn about mankind but becomes frustrated by them and returns to the peace of his glorious underground Kingdom.
